A few weeks ago, Paula and Kristina attended the LuCE congress in Vienna: an international gathering around lung cancer, patient advocacy, knowledge sharing and collaboration.
The congress brings together professionals, patient organisations, people with lived experience and others involved, from a range of countries. LuCE stands for connection, awareness and the sharing of experience. Exchanging personal stories and valuable insights builds a fuller understanding of the impact of lung cancer medically, personally and socially.
During the congress, inspiring speakers took the floor and important themes were discussed, including support, advocacy, education and international collaboration. For Paula and Kristina it was a valuable opportunity to gain knowledge, share experiences and make new contacts.
In the video we look back on the atmosphere, the encounters and the impact of the event. Paula and Kristina also offer a glimpse behind the scenes of their time in Vienna.
The LuCE congress showed once again how important it is to listen, to share and to work together towards greater awareness and better support for everyone affected by lung cancer.
