Events and Activities

🎉 What an inspiring afternoon! 💙

On Thursday 26 June 2025 we had the pleasure of welcoming our members, patients and supporters to our ALK+ information meet-up at the Wijkhuis Papenhof in Mechelen.

We are especially grateful for the engaging talks by:
👨‍⚕️ Prof. Dr Patrick Pauwels – who took us clearly through the molecular workings of our disease and the impact of targeted therapies.
👨‍⚕️ Prof. Dr Paul Germonpré – who gave an in-depth view of the treatment pathway from the perspective of the pulmonologist-oncologist.

🧠 People did not only listen: plenty of questions were asked and experiences shared, which made the gathering all the more valuable.

🍰 We closed the day with a relaxed get-together over sandwiches, cake and warm conversation.

🙏 A big thank-you to everyone who came and helped shape the afternoon.
